Interim President of the Board
Dr. Paige Hudson
Dr. Paige Hudson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. She has served on the Board of Directors for Tennessee Healthcare Campaign (THCC) since 2023, bringing with her over a decade of experience in behavioral health and clinical leadership. She currently oversees all clinical programming for a non-profit behavioral health agency. With extensive experience in community mental health, clinical supervision, and program development, Dr. Paige brings a strong commitment to advancing mental health initiatives. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, adventuring to new places, and connecting with family and friends.

Dr. Georgita Washington
Dr. Georgita T. Washington has been a member of the Johnson City community since 1987. Retired since December 2020, she has worked as a professional registered nurse, primarily in critical care, and as a professor in the College of Nursing at East Tennessee State University. She has one undergraduate degree and two graduate degrees in nursing, and one graduate degree in Christian Ministries. She is also a licensed minister in the Baptist tradition and is an associate minister at Thankful Baptist Church in Johnson City. She is a 21.75 -year breast cancer survivor, who loves studying and teaching the Bible, and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Tracey T. Stansberry
Tracey T. Stansberry, PhD, MSN, APRN is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Nursing, where she coordinates the Graduate Certificate in Health Policy Program. With nearly two decades of rural health care experience, her research and teaching focus on rural health equity, hospital closures, disaster preparedness, and the role of APRNs in underserved communities. She serves on multiple boards, including Big South Fork Medical Center’s Community Advisory Board, the Scott County Department of Health’s Advisory Board, and the Tennessee Health Care Campaign Board of Directors.

Richard Henighan
Retired Family Nurse Practitioner. Practiced in multiple safety-net settings in East Tennesse for three decades. Long term THCC activist and supporter.

Mark S. Gaylord
Mark S. Gaylord, MD is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, where he practiced as a neonatologist for 37 years. He served as Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Director of the East Tennessee Regional Perinatal Program, and Medical Supervisor of the neonatal nurse practitioners. A past president of the National Perinatal Association, Knoxville Pediatric Society, and East Tennessee Ronald McDonald House, he has long been active in statewide perinatal advisory committees and rural health initiatives. He currently serves on the Board of Tennessee Health Care Campaign. A Memphis native and UT alumnus, Dr. Gaylord remains dedicated to improving perinatal health across Tennessee.
